He holds two bachelor's degrees, one in Business with a specialisation in Logistics and Operations Management, and another in Arts with a focus on Industrial Relations and Political Science. He has leveraged his academic background to build a successful career in the agricultural industry.
For the past eight years, Kieran has worked as a Commercial Manager at Mort & Co, where he managed the end-to-end process of feed commodity procurement and execution for the company's feed mills and manufacturing facilities. During his time at Mort & Co, Kieran developed a robust skillset that includes market intelligence gathering, price and liquidity risk management, bid/offer formulation, and advanced negotiation skills.
Kieran considers his personal strengths to be his ability to build strong networks and relationships with industry participants. Strong interpersonal skills have played a significant role in his professional success. Prior to joining Mort & Co, Kieran worked as a Logistics Manager at GrainCorp and a Demand Planning Manager at Capral, where he honed his skills in logistics and operations management.
